Inject _template_roots "before_app_loads"

Looking for a way to give all controllers multiple view/template/lib/controller/etc paths "before_app_loads".
For example, it would be nice to allow a plugin to add multiple/alternate views tempaltes for the system to look in. There should be the ability to add the templates in the front or back.
BTW does the _template_roots work in LIFO or FIFO?

Looks like you can do it in the hook or with a bootloader. This is what merb-slices do in some sense.
How do you think it should work, or should we close this?
