rake freeze:plugins doesn't support rubygems mode.
Can someone submit a patch that raises that error when trying to rake freeze:plugins in MODE=rubygems.

The freezer is gone in 0.9.6. Instead we support bundled app meaning that you can bundle all your gems with your app and deploy without any system-wide gems installed.
We are also working on Thor tasks to make things easier, here is the work in progress:
